My point of view.
Working the door at a comedy club doesn't make you a comedian, it makes you a door man.

Happy Halloween!
this year i was so excited for Halloween that i face fucked my jack-o'-lantern!
This is me doing comedy...
as long as i can remember i've always wanted everyone to like me, and i always loved being silly and making people laugh. so i guess i'd say i've had a life long relationship with comedy. it all started in the fifth grade, back when i didn't know how to talk to women. i still don't know how to talk to women but that's beside the point.. i would always try to make this girl i liked laugh, sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't, and sometimes i'd get kicked out of class for being disruptive. i got kicked out so much my name changed from tim, to 'outside!'
i did't realize then but the seeds of comedy where being planted. i first started stand-up after graduating from college. i knew nothing except, i was funny (ha, ha). i found an open mic night, wrote some killer material (or so I thought at the time) then went and seriously bombed onstage. i ate it! words cannot describe how bad i was my first time but i will say this, there was a Ric Flair impression. no one laughed, everyone hated me, i hyperventilated onstage then cried in my car.
i was totally bummed after that first night but i went back out again the next day and actually bombed even worse! this time i got booed and heckled. my material was so bad. i had no clue what i was doing at all. objectively speaking i really had no business being onstage then. i didn't try stand-up comedy again for another 2 years.
deep down i knew i really wanted to become a good stand-up comedian so i came back again and again and bombed over and over again. and what i'm trying to say is i am dedicated to the art of stand-up comedy and improving as a comedian and this is one of my first sets after picking it back up for hopefully the last time. i'm an open mic'er and i just want to share my material. thanks.

Episode #149: Passionate for Podcasting
Timmy learns to shimmy on The Jellyvision Show.
(Pilot) Trueheart: My first Podcast, the Car-cast
I have been procrastinating Forever about doing my own podcast so yesterday I finally recorded one on my way over to The Jellyvision Show and here it is. By the way, it couldn't be more ghetto.
I'm not your typical black guy.
I know what it's like being the ONLY black person around.
Okay, maybe there are a couple of black people in this pic but where are those Kenyans when you need them?
My jokes make my followers, confused...
This seems to be how most of my friends interpret my comedy.
@TimTrueheart Took me a minute, but that's comedy gold. Wait, do the joke one more time so I can respond appropriately

My Power Animal
I've always had an affinity for the Tiger, and I have wanted a Tiger tattoo for over a decade. I feel a strong draw towards this animal. I've admired the Tiger since I lived in India in the mid 90's. I look to the Tiger for inspiration in my life. To me the Tiger symbolizes strength, courage, and also sensuality.

The Jellyvision Show #108
This awesome episode was recorded in front of the real live studio audience at The Tank theater in New York City baby! We are joined by actor/director Chris Griffin of Hope Operas, and the improv troupe The Punctual Drunks. ENJOY!
Me, beside Jeff Koons' Balloon Dog at Christie's in NYC.
Chilling in Central Park!
Times Square baby!
Cool candid pic of Chris Griffin during the live show!
I had a fabulous time in the Big Apple and I can't wait to go back again. There is an energy in New York that is unlike anywhere else i've ever been. So, if you haven't been to New York in a while then you've got to go because its truly an incredible experience!
