I’m trying to become a better version of myself for my family, my friends, my community, and finally myself. Here are some tips I’ve put together. I hope you likey.
Continually getting rid of excess clutter and pursuing a more minimalist lifestyle.
Monk Mode 24/7/365
Always be doing laundry
So fresh and so clean clean.
Waking up early
Get up, get out, and get something… Or, as Jocko Willink says “Get after it.”
Packing your lunch for work / Ordering a salad when you go out to eat.
Save money and eat healthy, it’s a win-win for your wallet and your body!
Keeping your car clean AF!
Because god forbid you give someone a ride in your sloppy jalopy. I used to be so broke that I had to keep it clean because the extra weight affected my gas mileage and I couldn’t afford to be a slob.
Reaching out to friends.
Which I consider working on relationships. Relationships are very important to our overall success in life and our health. Go figure!
I’m going to circle back to cleaning once again with this fun fact.
Cleaning burns calories...
Look at cleaning as a form of cardio and become a marathoner.
Just don’t expect big changes on the scale because it burns less calories than walking. However you will see big changes in your home, and your car, if you have one City Slicker. Clean spaces lead to an enhanced quality of life and way more swiggity swag. It’s always been my experience that making my environment as neat, clean, and organized as I possible is a game changer.
Peace,
