Well, I’m back to blogging again which is good. Hooray! Now, what shall I do with this momentum? To blog regularly usually I have to challenge myself and dangle some reward in front of my future self like a proverbial carrot. Anway this time is no different except this will be the biggest challenge I’ve ever faced… Yes, read on young padawan.
Wouldn’t it be cool if having your dream life was easy? Well, it’s not so quit your daydreaming!
Taking your life to the next level requires a plan. And my plan is a one month personal development program. I’m calling it Monk Mode May. There aren’t any clearly defined parameters other than it’s “One Month of Selfless Self-Improvement”. Basically It’s all about cutting all the BS out of your life. No excuses. Considering I won't be able to engage in many of my self-defeating behaviours for awhile it oughta be very helpful… Honestly, I think it'll be a great experience.
See, April was a good month for me and I want to build on that momentum. I didn’t eat as much fast food, or junk food, and a ran more too but when I realized one beer can make me feel like shit when I wake up. I said “F” that I’ve gotta make some changes. Jesus, that's incredible that one beer can make me feel so bad when I wake up in the morning... It's like I have no ability to handle booze!
Also, I did No Nut November awhile back in 2018, and it’s completely changed my relationship to porn and semen in general (but that’s another post) and I’ve had more nofap days this April, and in 2019 than I did in all of 2018. I’ve written and spoke about nofap before on my youtube channel and I can’t overstate how helpful doing nofap is. It helps me build motivation and productivity. There is an energy that you build up when you don't PMO and when you build up that energy what happens is you become stronger, better, more pure.
I really like how I feel when I'm on nofap. I actually like who I am more when I'm on nofap. I’m going to focus on completing Monk Mode May, one day at a time, and I'll see where I’m at after that. I just really look forward to all the different changes that I’m going to experience this month.
You must develop your own version of Monk Mode May, but here’s my own personal plan
NOFAP, i.e. No PMO
Keto, No fast food, no candy, no alcohol
Daily exercise, meditation, and yoga
No excess television
Daily reading, writing, and planning sessions
Wake up no later than 6 am, everyday
Complete 31 entries on my website (one for each day of the month)
Good luck, and I’ll see you at the top!
