I’m posting daily Youtube videos for the next month. I briefly discuss mediation and sensory deprivation tanks in this video. If there is a topic you’d like me to discuss let me know and I’ll cover it in an upcoming video. Also, if you’re in the Washington, DC area I recommend this place to go float. www.hopefloatsusa.com
Thanks for watching.

I want success. My goal is to build wealth. Making a plan isn’t hard, sticking to it is. The first thing I consider when looking at a job is if it covers all my expenses and also allows me to save money.
If you don't focus on your goals and push for them you're not going to get to anywhere. If you focus you can achieve it. Build momentum and focus on your objective.
Peace,
-Tim

Just checking my twitter account today and saw this online... Crazy considering tonight was my first time doing 30 minutes. Seeing that tweet is just more motivation to keep improving.
I love hosting comedy shows... It might be my most favorite spot to perform on a show, not counting headlining but no duh right? For me hosting is a pleasure. Regarding my hosting lately I've been focusing on being "unflappable" onstage. I never want to be shook if things aren't going my way. Being unflappable is a basic skill and is necessary for dealing with everything from loud drink machines to silent laughers to hecklers. Also, don't be needy. The audience knows when you're thirsty for their laughs and when they can sense that that's when the laughs stop... Crazy. Whenever you're performing whether or not you're the host or it's your first time onstage you should never appear needy for laughs nor can you let a lack of feedback affect you. You must maintain your composure and stay in the pocket. Over time your poker face will get better so don't try to rush it, and have some savers ready incase when things start going downhill. Focus on doing a good job while you're up there and not on what you think they think of you, I've found that the audience likes you more than you think and that you're much harder on yourself than any crowd will ever be.

I haven't been writing much lately but I am now and thankfully I am putting it onto the page. I have been focusing a lot of my free time the last few months on running my comedy open mic in Arlington, VA. The name of the show is Stand-up @ Summers and it's every Thursday at Summers Restaurant in Arlington (Courthouse) just off the WMATA Orange Line Metro stop. Tomorrow is Thursday but I will not be there however my lovely girlfriend, baby momma, and funny lady Katie Dunn will be there to host the heck out of the show. Anyway, I've honestly had a lot of challenges hosting and running this room and I want to use my blog to help other people who might be interested in running their own mic someday. Yes, I am going to take this opportunity to blog about it and put out some positive energy! So, I am free to answer questions people may have for me about how I run my room, etc.
Talk soon,
-Tim
